Tata Motors unveiled the Curvv concept as one of its futuristic coupe SUVs in the mid-range segment. Tata has confirmed both EV and ICE models. of the Curvv for the Indian market. After showcasing the production-ready prototypes during the Bharat Global Mobility Expo 2024, Tata announced Curvv EV and ICE models deliveries starting in the first half of 2024 itself. However, it seems the Curvv EV’s arrival is now delayed. What’s the new timeline and why has Tata has delayed Curvv EV’s India launch? Details are below:

Tata Curvv EV Launch Delayed: Here’s Why

The Tata Curvv EV model which previously was set to debut in the Q1 of 2024 will now see a delayed launch in the country. But the company has reportedly not commenced its production which is why the arrival is now postponed. As per the online reports, the ongoing General Lok Sabha elections is one the primary factors for the Curvv EV’s production delay which eventually leads to its late arrival.

However, Tata Motors have not given out any official statement which cites this same reason for the delayed availability of the Curvv EV. The reports also indicates the Curvv ICE models will also be hitting the shelves later than expected.

What’s The New Timeline?

If we go by the information available online, the Curvv EV will now be launched around the festive season. The Curvv’s petrol and diesel engine variants are said to go on sale starting Q4 of 2024 or early 2025. This is considering the productions will now commence by June 2024. Note that Tata is yet to make any official comments on these timeline. Hence, we would suggest you to wait until some official word is out on the same.
