Tata Nexon.ev has been the most popular compact electric SUVs in India. The Indian automobile giant unveiled the much awaited Dark Edition of the Nexon.ev at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Now, the new variant has been officially launched in the country with a starting price under Rs. 20 lakh. What about the features? Are they upgraded too or remains the same old? Let’s find out:

Tata Nexon. EV Dark Edition

The Tata Nexon.ev Dark Edition. as showcased during the Bharat Mibility Global Expo 2024, features an all-black theme. This dark attire is the prime highlight of the Nexon.ev Dark edition which gives this compact SUV an aggressive and bold look. The charcoal black body gets complemented by the piano black bumpers.

What further enhances the appeal is the LED DRL and LED headlamps. The black accents aren’t restricted to the exteriors. The interiors too are painted with all-black scheme. It has black leatherette seats which makes it feel more rugged and premium. Inside the cabin, the Nexon.ev Dark Edition sports a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. . The entire package sits on R16 black alloy wheels.

Tata Nexon.EV Dark Edition Powertrain: Any Upgrades?

The mechanics remains unchanged inside the Nexon.ev Dark Edition, so does the safety and utility features. This new variant is also available in Medium Range and Long Range models. The Nexon.ev Dark Edition Medium Range variant has a 30 kWh battery pack and rides up to 325 km on a full charge. The Long Range model features a 40.2 kWh battery with which it can travel up to 465 km per charge.

The Nexon EV is available in two primary configurations: the Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR) versions. The MR variant comes with a 30 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 325 kilometers and a peak power output of 127 bhp. On the other hand, the LR variant is equipped with a larger 40.2 kWh battery pack, providing a 465-kilometer range and a power output of 143 bhp.

Tata Nexon.ev Dark Edition India Price

The Tata Nexon.ev Dark Edition is expensive than the standard variant. It is launched starting at Rs. 19.49 lakh (ex showroom) in India. The sub Rs. 20 lakh price for an all-black compact electric SUV is an ideal deal to grab considering the wide range of smart and security features it offers.
