A telephoto lens can optically zoom into the subject without much loss of details. However, the wide-angle lens can only digitally zoom in using magnification technology and so the quality of the image deteriorates. A telephoto lens can optically zoom as they have a longer focal length than the standard wide-angle lens.
Macro Lens
The next camera lens in a smartphone is a macro sensor. A macro lens is useful for close-up photography where you want to capture small details of the subject.
