TVS XL EV, E-XL EV Trademarked In India: Launching Soon?

In the latest developments, trademark filing XL EV, E-XL EV has been completed by TVS Motors. The images of the trademark application of both TVS XL EV and the E-XL EV have been doing rounds online indicating an upcoming launch. Do note that the trademark filed is for different models and not the one TVS is expected to launch within next two to three months.

Just the trademark filing doesn’t come as an affirmation for the upcoming TVS 2 wheeler electric motorcycle’s imminent India launch. It could take a while for TVS to push both these models to the production bay. So, we can safely assume the TVS XL EV and the E-XL EV will go official by the end of 2024 or 2025.

TVS XL EV, E-XL EV Design And Powertrain Highlights: Details We Know

Unfortunately, only the trademark application details have been revealed by the rumor mill. No other source has revealed what exactly TVS has in store for the Indian consumers with the upcoming XL EV, E-XL EV electric two wheelers. However, TVS is currently selling TVS XL 100 ICE moped in India.

The monikers of the newly trademarked EVs suggests TVS will bring its own electric moped lineup for the Indian consumers. And if that’s the case, TVS would become the secondto offer an electric moped in the country.

As of now, only Kinetic has ventured into the e-moped segment with the e-Luna. And since the TVS XL EV, E-XL EV are also likely to target the affordable segment, we could see them retailing under Rs. 80,000 price range.
