Tata Safari EV Test Mule Leaked
Tata Motors’s upcoming electric SUV, i.e., the Safari EV has been spotted during testing . A closer look of the test mule images shows the bulky and masculine profile of the Safari EV which is much like the Safari ICE model. However, there are subtle design reworks that will be the distinguishing factor between the ICE and electric variant.
The upcoming electric SUV was snapped somewhere in Bengaluru, Karnataka where it seems to have an all-metallic sheet frame under the camouflage taping which is the highlight of the ICE model too. Unlike the Punch.ev that gets a front mounted charging slot, the Safari EV has it mounted at the rear right fender.
Notably, the Safari EV comes void of flush door handles. It seems that Tata will be limiting the flush-fit door handles to the Curvv EV and ICE models as of now. Tyre profile of the Safari EV seems to be 19-inch alloys which have an aero-inspired design possibly for the reduced air drag and improved mileage efficiency.
The Tata Safari EV is expected to offer the same roomier cabin as the ICE model. The range of cabin features will possibly be shared between both. This means, we might see the same big 12-inch infotainment screen and a 10.2-inch driver display on the Safari EV models. The upcoming e-SUV will also feature a wide panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats both upfront and the rear, and automatic climatic control.
