Vivo T smartphone series marked its debut earlier this year with the T1 5G model. The company started this new mobile series for the budget consumers demanding mid-range phones with 5G capabilities. Recently, two new models were added to this lineup called the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and the Vivo T1 44W model. Soon after, the second-generation phone in this series dubbed Vivo T2 5G also started making rounds online. A recent listing on the company’s official website confirmed the May 23 launch date for T2 in China. However, the company has now postponed the launch date to next month. Vivo T2 Official Launch Delayed: What Could Be The Reason?
Vivo had earlier scheduled the T2 5G official launch earlier for May 23. The official listing on the company’s website had confirmed the upcoming Vivo T series phone’s launch in the country. However, the brand has now shifted the Vivo T2 5G’s launch to next month. The second-generation Vivo T series phone will now be launching on June 6, 2022.
Vivo has updated the new launch timeline for the T2 5G via its official Weibo handle. The company has only revealed the delayed launch timeline for the upcoming T series phone. The reason why the launch is postponed is not yet confirmed. Also, the global availability of the Vivo T2 is also yet to be announced. Vivo T2 Key Specifications And Features
The Vivo T2 5G specifications are already out in the wild. The next Vivo T series phone is said to bestow a tall 6.62-inch AMOLED display that will support 1080p FHD+ screen resolution. The panel will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and will feature a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The optics and the chipset details are also known.
The Vivo T2 5G will make use of the octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset. The flagship Qualcomm processor is said to be paired with 8GB/ 12GB RAM. The storage option available will be 128GB and 256GB storage option. The software version will be Android 12 OS with OriginOS custom interface.
