Vivo X80 Series India Launch Roundup: Live Stream And Availability Details
The Vivo X80 series official India launch will be taking place on May 18, 2022. Vivo has announced the standard X80 and the X80 Pro’s launch timeline and availability details. As mentioned above, the latest flagship Vivo X80 series phone will be sold via Flipkart in India. The Vivo X80 series microsite on Flipkart confirms the aforementioned May 18 launch scheduled for 12 PM.

We currently have no authentic report or official teaser that reveals the exact pricing details of the X80 series. But as far as the speculations go, a sub Rs. 60,000 price tag is expected from the Vivo X80 Pro. On the other hand, the vanilla Vivo X80 is rumored to launch with an asking price under Rs. 50,000.
Vivo X80, X80 Pro Specifications In India
The Vivo X80 series specifications are known since both the vanilla X80 and the X80 Pro have already been launched outside India. The standard Vivo X80 will be launched in India backed by the Dimensity 9000 octa-core chipset. Vivo is expected to launch the X80 with the same up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
The standard Vivo X80 is also expected to ship with a huge 6.78-inch display. It will be a Samsung E5 AMOLED panel that will support a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. Vivo is said to equip the X80 series with Zeiss-branding cameras.
The standard X80 will be launched with triple rear cameras where the main sensor measure 50MP, while the remaining two sensors will be a pair of 12MP lenses. The selfies snapper on the Vivo X80 will be a 32MP lens and the battery packed will be a 4,500 mAh unit with 80W fast charging.
The Vivo X80 Pro will be an upgrade in all aspects when compared to the standard Vivo X80. The X80 Pro will have the same 6.78-inch sized AMOLED panel but it will support 2K resolution instead of FHD+. The X80 Pro’s imaging setup will also feature an additional sensor. The camera specifications will include a 50MP main sensor paired up with a 48MP secondary sensor, a 12MP, and an 8MP sensor.
The battery capacity and fast charging support will also be upgraded here. The Vivo X80 Pro will be packed with a 4,700 mAh battery that will use the same 80W fast charging technology as the standard X80.
