Redmi Note 11S India Launch Date Officially Announced

As mentioned above, Xioami itself has announced the upcoming Redmi Note 11S launch in India next month. The Chinese tech giant has shared the launch poster via its official India Twitter handle. The handset is slated for February 9, 2022 launch in India. A dedicated microsite has also been created by Xiaomi at its official India website.

The product page mentions the February 9 launch date and also has the ‘Notify Me’ tab. You can click on this tab to get all the latest updates related to the Redmi Note 11S in India. At the time of writing, none of the features were updated on the product page. However, with just a few weeks remaining for the official launch, we can expect the brand to update the features gradually.

It is currently not confirmed if Xiaomi is hosting any specific launch event for this mid-range smartphone. Nevertheless, we can expect the brand to live stream the event via its official YouTube channel if it plans to host a dedicated launch event for Redmi Note 11S in India. Also, its availability can be expected across both online and offline retail stores in the country.

If we speak of the expected specifications, the Redmi Note 11S is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek chipset. However, the exact name of the processor is not revealed. The rumor mill suggests an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and likely an FHD+ screen resolution. The display size is also not known at the moment.

The Redmi Note 11S might ship with a quad-lens camera module (suggested via leaks). The main camera is said to be a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor which will be combined with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (likely Sony IMX355 sensor). The camera setup is also said to accommodate a pair of 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for depth and macro shots. The exact battery size is also not known but we might will surely see fast charging technology in the mix.
