Chinese premium EV brand Zeekr, affiliated with Geely Holding Group, has introduced a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery designed to support fast charging. The move reflects a trend among EV manufacturers to reduce dependency on external suppliers for critical components.
Zeekr showcased the battery at Geely’s Zhejiang-based plant, announcing its upcoming 007 sedan as the first model to feature the new batteries.
