TCL is known for creating TVs, therefore it would be strange if the company didn't include a good display screen on its tablets. Thankfully, this isn't the case, as the TCL Tab 10s features a respectable 1920x1200p 10-inch display with good viewing angles and adequate brightness for a device that will be used primarily at home. There are no fancy features like a fast refresh rate or ultra-narrow bezels, but there are no trade-offs with the display that one gets, except for the WideVine L3 limitation, which means no HD video on Netflix.

With minimal usage, the TCL Tab 10s' 8,000mAh battery may last for days, and when watching videos or movies, the user can expect anywhere from 6.5 to 8 hours of screen time, which is almost enough to see The Matrix trilogy in one sitting. The 18W charge, on the other hand, may take longer than usual due to the huge battery. Reverse charging is also supported for powering other gadgets. The high-speed Wi-Fi network on the TCL 10 TAB 10 provides super-smooth HD Voice and hands-free calls with VoWiFi.

The Tab 10s has a basic camera configuration that includes an 8MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera. The images aren't particularly impressive, but they'll do for video conversations in well-lit locations. Group interactions are more interesting and efficient with the ZOOM and 5MP camera.

The tablet is 24.1cm in length, 0.8cm in height, and 15.9cm in width. When it comes to design, tablets aren't regarded as personal statements in the same way that smartphones are, but that doesn't mean they can't benefit from exceptional build quality and design. The 10s performs admirably in this regard, with no creaking edges or unsteady buttons. On the back of the tab, there's a velvet-meets-sandstone finish. It doesn't have the same gripping feel as actual sandstone, but it handles and looks better than a layer of glossy plastic. A USB-C port is also included, which is always welcome. Users may connect the gadget to keyboards and accessories with the use of dual speakers, an LED indicator, and magnetic pogo pins. In addition, there is IP52 certification for weather resistance.
